10.2 Controlling the Functions Assigned to the AUX Input Ports
Sending a Transpond Code (AUX Input)
Transponder (AUX Input) is the function to notify the transmitting subscriber unit that the repeater has received an
Air Remote code by sending a Transpond code when the repeater receives the Air Remote code, and then the
functions assigned to AUX Input ports become active or inactive, or enabled or disabled.
The timing to send a Transpond code can be selected from "None", "Before", "After", and "Both" for each function.

About the configuration of a Transpond code
Each Transpond code which is sent when the functions assigned to the AUX Input ports become active or inactive,
or enabled or disabled, after the repeater receives an Air Remote code can be configured.
A Transpond code can be configured for each of Activation (AUX Transponder) and Deactivation (AUX
Transponder) by using KPG-174D.

About the configuration of Single Tone
Single Tone is the function to send a Transpond code by using a single tone.
If this function is enabled, the repeater sends a Transpond code by using a single tone. In this case, the frequency
and the transmit duration of the single tone to be sent can be selected from Encode/Decode List of DTMF.

If this function is disabled, the repeater sends the DTMF code configured in Encode/ Decode List of DTMF as a
Transpond code.

The repeater does not send a Transpond code.
The repeater sends a Transpond code when the repeater receives an Air Remote code. If
transmission is disabled, the repeater does not send a Transpond code.
The repeater sends a Transpond code after the repeater processes the received Air Remote code.
If transmission is disabled, the repeater does not send a Transpond code. Also, the repeater does
not send a Transpond code if the repeater cannot process the Air Remote code.
The repeater sends a Transpond code when the repeater receives an Air Remote code and after
the repeater processes the received Air Remote code. If transmission is disabled, the repeater
does not send a Transpond code.
