Limiting the IDs for Repeat Transmission
(User List (Group ID)/ User List (User ID))
User List (Group ID) and User List (Unit ID) are the functions to restrict the IDs to be transmitted by using the
Repeat PTT control on the DMR digital channels for which User List (Group ID) or User List (Unit ID) is enabled.
If User List (Group ID) or User List (Unit ID) is enabled, the repeater repeats only DMR digital signal calls that use
the ID permitted in the User List (Group ID) or User List (Unit ID).
If User List (Group ID) and User List (Unit ID) are disabled, the repeater repeats all DMR digital signal calls.
However, the received Color Code needs to match the Color Code preconfigured for the repeater as the basic
condition to repeat in all cases.
Note
• This function can be used only on a DMR digital channel.
• If the Unit ID and Group ID to be used for a DMR digital signal call are not permitted for use, the call cannot be made because
the repeater does not transmit the repeat transmission. In this case, the receiving subscriber unit is in a silent receiving mode
because the repeater continues to transmit an idle signal to allow the call to be transmitted in a vacant slot.

Configuring the Group IDs Permitted for Repeat Transmission (Group ID List)

Group ID List is the list in which the Group IDs permitted for repeat transmission on a DMR digital channel are
configured.
The repeater repeats when receiving a call by the Group ID which is configured in Group ID List and for which "Yes"
is configured in Valid. Because subscriber units using unauthorized Group IDs are not repeated, the repeater cannot
communicate with these subscriber units. In this case, the receiving subscriber unit is in a silent receiving mode
because the repeater continues to transmit an idle signal to allow the call to be transmitted in a vacant slot.
A maximum of 1000 Group IDs can be configured in Group ID List by using KPG-174D.
Note
• If "Unaddress" is configured in Start ID of Group ID List, the repeater is permitted to use the codes $FFFFE0 to $FFFFEF.
• If "ALL" is configured in Start ID of Group ID List, the repeater is permitted to use all codes.

Configuring the Unit IDs Permitted for Repeat Transmission (Unit ID List)

Unit ID List is the list in which the Unit IDs permitted for repeat transmission on a DMR digital channel are
configured.
The repeater repeats when receiving a call by the Unit ID which is configured in Unit ID List and for which "Yes" is
configured in Valid. Because subscriber units using unauthorized Unit IDs are not repeated, the repeater cannot
communicate with these subscriber units. In this case, the receiving subscriber unit is in a silent receiving mode
because the repeater continues to transmit an idle signal to allow the call to be transmitted in a vacant slot.
A maximum of 1000 Unit IDs can be configured in the Unit ID List by using KPG-174D.
