Description
Automatically calibrate
A/D converter for the ap‐
plied video level
The video level range of
the system is checked, and
the monitor set accordingly.
This results in optimum ad‐
justment of the individual
RGB A/D converters to the
video source.
The calibration results in a
larger and more flexible
video level range (e.g., the
full brightness is also ach‐
ieved at 700 mV if the vid‐
eo level is limited at this
value).
Note: A specific test pat‐
tern and timing are prereq‐
uisites!
The A/D converters have
already been factory-set
and need not be readjust‐
ed.
Remaining margin of
backlight that can be
used for regulation
Note: The data is only dis‐
played when the panel has
warmed up (after approx.
20 min). The displayed val‐
