Appendix F. Description of Strapping Options
This appendix explains the firmware strap settings. which are changed
using the control panel pushbuttons.
• Save any strap setting changes using the Setup:Store feature to
prevent losing them when power is removed or when the printer is
initialized.
• Straps that change a default condition may not be recognized until a
self-test is performed. Cycle the printer power or press the
TEST/CLEAR pushbutton.

With the parallel interface selected and the printer offiine. select the
parallel interface straps by pressing:
