How This Manual is Organized
This manual consists of 3 chapters and 2 appendices as follows.
Chapter 1
Describes a suitable location for your laser printer and how to unpack and install it. Be sure to
read this chapter before setting up the printer.
Chapter 2
Explains the printer control panel, and describes the menu structure and the menu navigation.
Chapter 3
Explains procedures to isolate and solve problems that may occur during the installation of your
printer. Control panel LCD error messages are also discussed in this chapter.
Appendix A
Provides information on how to contact GENICOM Corp. for technical support, service and repair
issues. Also provides a list of GENICOM part numbers for the LN45 and Intelliprint mL450 printers,
options, and consumables.
Appendix B
Describes cautions to take when installing, transporting, or operating the printer. Also includes
applicable regulatory compliances of your printer.
