3.7.9.3. Assigning the Functions of the General Purpose Outputs

When the GEN MODE is not set to time rctl there are two general purpose outputs. The functions of
these outputs is set using the GPO1 ASSIGNMENT and GPO2 ASSIGNMENT menu items. The
operation of both menus is identical so only the GPO1 Assignment menu will be shown.
GPO1 ASSIGNMENT
Gpo1 = rdr event
Gpo1 = gen event
Gpo1 = 1 pulse/sec
Gpo1 = 1 pulse/min
Gpo1 = ref failure

Model 8010TM-IRIG SDI Time Code Master with IRIG Reader Manual
On the 8010TM-IRIG models the Irig active function replaces the LTC
active function on the8010TM model.
Irig active
Provides an alternate method of selecting the IRIG
reader as the active reader. The IRIG reader is selected by a
high to low transition on this input, and deselected by a low to
high transition. This menu item is available only on the 8010TM-
IRIG
The following descriptions indicate the how the GPO will function with
each setting.
Rdr event
The output will activate for the GPO Duration when the
reader time matches the REVT register and the event register is
armed. See section 3.7.9.4 for information about setting the
REVT register and arming it.
Gen event
The output will activate for the GPO Duration when the
generator time matches the GEVT register and the event
register is armed.

1 pulse/sec
The output will activate for the GPO Duration at the
beginning of each second of the generator time.
Duration value such that the pulse is less than one half a second
long.

The output will activate for the GPO Duration at the
beginning of each minute of the generator time.

reference is missing.
