Programming Infusions

This chapter provides instructions for programming
infusions in each of the pump's five infusion profiles.

The Continuous profile has the following
programming options:
Program a single rate and the total volume.

The pump calculates the time for the
infusion.
Program the total time for the infusion and

total volume. The pump calculates the rate.
Titrate the rate and/or the volume while the

infusion is in progress or before the infusion
begins. See "Titration in Continuous
Profile," 4-6.
Delay the delivery for a specified period of

time.
