Programming an Infusion

Turn pump on by pressing the ON/OFF PUMP key.

The following screens are displayed:

SELF-TEST...
During the self-test, the pump checks internal
functions and software components for proper
operation.
If an error code is displayed and/or a malfunction
occurs during self-test, turn the pump off and back
on again. If the error code or malfunction recurs, do
not use the pump. Have it checked by Baxter's
authorized service center.
After the self-test, you may see one or more of the
following screens that alert you to current settings on
the pump.
UP OCCLUSION
DISABLED
Indicates that the upstream occlusion sensor has been
disabled. Does not require a response.
To change the upstream occlusion alarm setting, see
Chapter 5, Advanced Functions.
Air-in-line
Disabled
Indicates that the Air-in-line alarm has been disabled.
Does not require a response.
To change the Air-in-line alarm setting, see
Chapter 5, Advanced Functions.
