4.12.8 RAID
RAID (redundant array of independent disks) is a data storage virtualization technology that
combines multiple physical HDD components into a single logical unit for the purposes of data
redundancy, performance improvement, or both.
● RAID function is for some series products only. Slight difference might be found on the user
interface.
● The NVR supports RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6, and RAID 10. Local hot spare supports RAID1,
RAID5, RAID6, and RAID10.
