Basic Flow of Startup System Failure Diagnosis

If the host machine would not start up, follow the flow shown below to identify the location of the trouble.
If a number such as (1) or (2) is shown in the flow diagram box, be sure to refer to the check item table and make a judgment.
Turn OFF the main power switch, and check
for disconnection of the power plug and
the Power Supply Cord.
Check that the machine can be
started without any problem
(1) Whether there is nothing displayed on the Control Panel LCD
Check item
Check whether the Control Panel LCD is blank and nothing is displayed on it.
If it is blank, see "Control Panel LED Check Flow" on page
