Before You Begin
• Always follow instructions and work carefully to avoid spilling ink from the ink tubes and the tops of
the ink sub tanks. If ink spills onto a printed circuit board at the base of the FFC, the print head unit
will become unusable and require replacement.
Ink Supply Unit Replacement
1.
Do SP2090-1 to clear the NVRAM setting for the ink supply unit.
2.
Move the Carriage Unit with SP2102-4 (p.267).
3.
Turn the machine off and disconnect the power cord from the power source.
4.
Separate the Main Unit from the Scanner Unit (p.274).
5.
Remove the top cover (p.245).
