• If the tip of the FFC curls, flatten it and make the connection.
• If the FFC is connected with its tip curled, SC may be displayed or the picture cannot be
copied or scanned properly.

Adjustment

After changing the CIS Unit, perform the CIS adjustment (p.586).

Original Exit Sensor

1. Remove the top of scanner unit (p.255).
2. Remove the CIS unit (p.301).
3. Remove the brackets on both sides of the original exit roller. (
