Paper Exit Guide
The paper exit guide guides printed paper from the machine into the exit stacker attached to the
front of the machine.
• Two lock magnets on either end of the guide hold it in place when it is open.
• A micro-switch on the right detects when the guide is opened and closed.
A torque limiter on the right hinge of the paper exit guide acts as a damper to slow the descent of
the guide after it is separated from the lock magnet above. This prevents the guide from falling
abruptly.
