The flushing option guarantees the automatic flushing function of
the system. The water pipework, mixing chamber and maturing
chamber are flushed by the raw water fed in. The residual polymer
solutions can be discharged for drainage. During the flushing time,
the metering pump is switched off by a software function. During
flushing, the product outlet E is closed by a motorised control
valve, and the contents of the maturing chamber are then drained
through an open motorised control valve to the drainage outlet D.

The "Empty signal for concentrate tank" option includes a capaci‐
tive sensor. The capacitive sensor is attached at the required
height on the outside of the supply drum using the fastening strap
supplied. The capacitive sensor signals the minimum filling level to
the control. The control, in turn, monitors the filling level and gener‐
ates an error message. This error message leads to polymer prep‐
aration stopping.
The sensor does not need to be calibrated to the liquid concen‐
trate/emulsion used if the wall thickness of the plastic tank is 0.5 ...
6 mm. Settings are required with wall thicknesses of > 6 mm.
