WARNING!
Danger from hazardous substances!
Possible consequence: Fatal or very serious inju‐
ries.
Please ensure when handling hazardous sub‐
stances that you have read the latest safety data
sheets provided by the manufacture of the haz‐
ardous substance. The actions required are
described in the safety data sheet. Check the
safety data sheet regularly and replace, if neces‐
sary, as the hazard potential of a substance can be
re-evaluated at any time based on new findings.
The system operator is responsible for ensuring
that these safety data sheets are available and that
they are kept up to date, as well as for producing
an associated hazard assessment for the worksta‐
tions affected.
Danger of slipping due to the escape of water or polymer. Mixtures
of polymer and water are slippery. When connecting the supply
drum, ensure that the hose connection on the system is secure.
Immediately remove any spilled liquid polymer or leaked polymer
solution. Always observe the safety data sheet for the polymer
used.
Only allow instructed personnel to operate the system. The system
can in principle be stopped and restarted in every operating phase.
Eliminate the cause of a fault before acknowledging the corre‐
sponding error message. Press RESET to acknowledge.
Requirements:
A reasonable operating parameter set-up.
n
Accurate calibration.
n
No unauthorised parameter changes in the Service menu.
n
If the concentrate tank is not automatically refilled, then continu‐
ously check the supply of liquid polymer and top it up in good time.
The "Empty signal for concentrate tank" option can be used to
automatically monitor the liquid level in a canister/drum or IBC.
If the level is too low, an error message will appear on the display
and there is sufficient time to top up the level,
