5.6.1.1 Forced Equalized Charging Test

Context
Before a forced equalized charging test, ensure that:
● The mains input is normal.
● Batteries are properly connected.
● Batteries are not in the equalized charging state.
If the battery strings of two power units are shared, you only need to perform the
forced equalized charging test for one power unit to complete all battery tests. If
the battery strings are not shared, you need to perform the forced equalized
charging test on the LCD of both power units to complete all battery tests.
Procedure
Step 1 On the home screen of the power unit LCD, choose Power Unit N Info. >
Maintenance > Battery Maint.
Step 2 Tap Start next to Forced Equalized Charging to start a forced equalized charging
test.

The forced equalized charging test automatically stops in any of the following cases:
● The forced equalized charging test duration reaches the forced equalized charging
protection time (12–24 h, 18 h by default).
● The UPS generates a battery overtemperature, overvoltage, or overcurrent alarm.
● An alarm is generated.
