5.1 Powering On and Starting the UPS

5.1.1 Power-On

Procedure
Step 1 If desiccant is available inside the cabinet, remove the desiccant.
Step 2 Turn on the upstream bypass and mains input switches.
Measure the voltage and frequency of the UPS input switch and upstream input
switch. The line voltage range is 138–485 V AC, and the frequency range is 40–70
Hz.
Step 3 Turn on the SPD switches 1QFS and 2QFS.
Step 4 Turn on output circuit breaker 1 (Q5-1) and output circuit breaker 2 (Q5-2).
When switching on an input or output circuit breaker, insert the ejector lever to
the bottom and lift it with both hands to switch the circuit breaker to ON.
Issue 10 (2023-05-26)
Before powering on the UPS, ensure that the UPS has passed all check items
in the section "Installation Verification."
Before powering on the UPS, ensure that there is no voltage at the UPS input
switch and upstream input switch by measuring.
Before powering on the UPS, ensure that all the UPS switches and upstream
switch are OFF.
