Remove the server from the rack .
7. Remove the access panel .
8. Disconnect the power and SATA cables from the optical drive.
9. To remove the optical drive from the LFF chassis:
a. Lift right side of the optical drive.
b. Detach the optical drive from the chassis.
10. To remove the optical drive from the SFF chassis:
a. Remove the optical drive cage from the SFF chassis.
