Performing Operations Using a 3-wire Sequence
When any parameter from H1-01 to H1-6 (multi-function contact input terminals S3 to S8) is set to 0, termi-
nals S1 and S2 are used for a 3-wire sequence, and the multi-function input terminal that has been set func-
tions as a Forward/Reverse Run Command terminal.
When the Inverter is initialized for 3-wire sequence control with A1-03, multi-function input 3 (terminal S5)
becomes the input terminal for the Forward/Reverse Run Command.

1. Use a sequence that turns ON terminal S1 for 50 ms or longer for the Run Command. This will make the
Run Command self-holding in the Inverter.
2. When the 3-wire sequence is set, do not make the wiring for the control circuit unless the multi-function
input terminal parameter is set. Failure to observe this warning may result in injury.
