2. Back up all data on the drive.
3. Remove the drive.
To replace the drive, insert the drive until it is fully seated, and close the latch to lock the drive in place.
Removing and replacing a drive blank
Procedure
1. Press the drive release button.
2. Remove the drive.
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the compute module unless all bays
are populated with either a component or a blank.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
