4. Remove the access panel.
5. Remove the graphics mezzanine assembly.
6. Remove the graphics mezzanine adapter board.
7. Remove the heatsink from the graphics card by loosening the four screws and carefully separating the heatsink from the
graphics card with a twist and lift motion. To ensure the correct orientation when reinstalling the heatsink, make note of
the orientation of the heatsink on the card.
NOTE: Your heatsink, graphics card, and backing plate may differ.
8. Clean off any thermal grease remaining on the GPU (on the graphics card) using an alcohol wipe or a clean dry wipe. If
using alcohol, allow the alcohol to evaporate before continuing.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the white thermal putty from the bottom of the heatsink. The thermal putty locations
are shown in the following image. The thermal putty on your graphics card may look different.
