Patient data
In this area, the information of the current patient is entered.
• Gender
• Last Name
• First Name
• Date of birth
• Age (in brackets)
• Patient ID
The patient data appears in all modules except for the Filing Cabinet and web-based KARL STORZ/
third-party products.
System information, date and time (right area)
The right area offers you direct access to access status selection, general audio settings, the
configuration menu, the product information, and the option to exit the system.

User currently logged in
The user currently logged in is shown at the right-hand side next to the user icon. Clicking on this icon
takes the user to the login screen.
Microphone and volume of the audio outputs
The volume of the optional microphone can be set and, if necessary, switched to mute using the
microphone symbol.
'Mute' is set as standard and must be activated manually.
Volume settings
The output volume of the optional loudspeaker (or headphones) can be set and, if necessary, switched
to mute using the loudspeaker symbol.
Configuration
The tool symbol takes you to the password-protected area for configuration of the system (see
software description).
