In this menu, you can specify the assignment and functioning of the remote control. Depending on the
installation, the remote control can be set up for the footswitch or, if necessary, also for the camera
head. If a footswitch is connected, set this up first of all.
1. Set up the assignment of the footswitches for all operating options.
a. If a dual footswitch is connected, set up all four operating options (left/right pressed all the way
down/pressed half way down) as described below.
b. If a single footswitch is connected, deactivate the operating options right pressed all the way
down/pressed half way down by setting None. Set up the operating options left pressed all the
way down/pressed half way down as described below.
Select Still capture Channel 1 if an image is to be captured from source 1 when the footswitch is
operated accordingly.
Select Still capture Channel 2 if corresponding operation of the pedal should result in image capture
from source 2.
Select Still capture Channels 1 & 2 if an image is to be captured from source 1 and source 2 at the
same time when the footswitch is operated accordingly.
Select Video start/stop Channel 1 if video recording from source 1 is to be started/stopped when
the footswitch is operated accordingly.
Select Video start/stop Channel 2 if video recording from source 2 is to be started/stopped when
the footswitch is operated accordingly.
Select Video start/stop Channels 1 & 2 if video recording from sources 1 and 2 is to be started/
stopped at the same time when the footswitch is operated accordingly.
Select None if no action is to be taken when the footswitch is operated accordingly.
Setting up remote control for the camera head buttons
If a footswitch is connected, set this up first of all.
The connections for the two camera head buttons are defined on setting up the footswitch.
1. Connect the camera head buttons to the connection sockets which meet your requirements in
terms of footswitch assignment.
Ensure that the operating options of the footswitch and connection sockets for the camera head
buttons correspond:
