Data saving on the facility's DICOM server
NOTE: You can configure several DICOM servers.

Under Name, enter a designation for the DICOM server. Select an individual designation for
each server as these are required by the system for identification.
Under Server AET, enter the AE title of the DICOM server.
Under Server IP, enter the IP address of the DICOM server.
Under Server Port, enter the port of the DICOM server.
Tap on Echo to test the connection.
If the connection test fails, there is probably an error in the network connection or in the entered
server access data.
NOTE: Consult with your facility's IT department as regards connection problems.

Video format for DICOM exports
If a 3D camera is connected and a 3D video is being recorded, a 2D video will be created as well as
the 3D video during the creation of the MPEG2 MP@ML. Only the 2D video will be transmitted when
transferring in MPEG2 MP@ML format.
The following video formats are available for video data export.
• Same as the record settings
Exports the video data in the same format as the recording.
NOTE: If the DICOM server does not accept this video format, then AIDA will automatically send the

video in MPEG2 MP@ML format.
• MPEG2 MP@ML
MPEG2 MP@ML is a video-streaming format with the profile MP and the level ML.
