KARL STORZ AIDA
guarantee our customers an efficient and comprehensive service. This allows for largely smooth
and failure-free surgical operations for users. Relevant device parameters can be made available
to KARL STORZ automatically via Remote Service. Depending on the situation, the customer can
provide the KARL STORZ service technician with direct VNC access to the KARL STORZ AIDA
secure connection.
Depending on the hospital network configuration, it may be necessary to enter details of an HTTP
proxy host in order to establish the KARL STORZ AIDA
This setting can be made in the AIDA configuration menu.
NOTE: Details of the host and port must be provided as a minimum in order for access to be granted

via the proxy server. Depending on the configuration, it may also be necessary to enter the user and
password.
Deactivating Remote Service
You must log on as the Administrator to deactivate the Remote Service.
1. Start AIDA.
2. Click on Windows Desktop.
3. Log in again.
