5. Software update by LAN is possible for SPU board hardware ver -44 (Software 2.43 is preinstalled
at factory as listed below), or SPU software 2.40 or older version is updated to 2.43 or later one by
card.

1. When the software is updated to ver. 3.xx from 2.xx, do FACTORY MENU 4 Factory Default.
Without CU-200
1.1 Take note of the Initial setting data and other settings including ON time and TX time. For 6. TT
PRESET, only 73 ANT select is required and others should be left by factory default setting.
1.2 Update the software.
1.3 Do Factory default.
1.4 Set Initial setting and other settings. It is not necessary to change ARPA DETAIL data shown
in FQ3-2008-020.
1.5 Turn off all equipment in the network, then turn on.
With CU-200
1.6 Save the setting data onto the RAM card by MENU4 - 8 WR SETTING DATA and -9 WR
INSTALL DATA. Take a note of ON time and TX time.
1.7 Update the software.
1.8 Do factory default
1.9 Load the saved data by MENU44 READ CARD.
1.10 Take note of the MENU06 TT PRESET- 73 ANT SELECT data.
1.11 Do factory default of TT by MENU060.
1.12 Set data of above 1.9 to MENU0673 ANT SELECT, and ON time and TX time.
1.13 Turn off all equipment in the network, then turn on.
2. Inter switch is not possible between ver. 3.xx and 2.xx. Use same software version in one radar
network.
3. After finishing above job, turn off all radars in a network. When HB is used, turn off HUB too.
