3.7.1 Replacing the Armrest

a. To replace the armrest:
Prepare a clean well lit workspace.
•
Turn the detector off and remove the batteries.
•
Remove the four (4) screws from the top of the armrest and remove the armrest. Figure
•
87.
b. The armrest can now be replaced as an assembly. If the armrest slide assembly must also
be replaced then the detector body must be opened as described in Section
Detector Body.
Reattach the armrest and fit the four (4) screws (12mm)
•
Check the armrest folds in and out correctly and also check that the armrest slides
•
backward and forward.
