3.8.1 Battery Compartment Replacement

a. Open the detector body as described in Section
completed:
Disconnect the battery connector.
•
Remove the two (2) screws (12mm) from the battery compartment. Figure 90.
•
Slide the battery compartment rearward (away from the main PCB), threading the
•
battery connector out of the detector body.
Install the battery compartment by first feeding the battery connector through the hole
•
in the detector body.
Slide the battery compartment into position. Figure 90.
•
Connect the battery connector.
•
Insert the two (2) mounting screws (12mm).
•
Close and lock the battery lid.
•
b. Reassemble the detector by closing the detector body as described in Section
