Post-dive Checks

Once the SeaBat T-Series Subsea system is recovered to deck, perform the following checks.
1.
Shut off all power to the SeaBat T-Series Subsea system.
2.
Using fresh water, wash down all system components to minimize salt accumulation
and the development of localized corrosion pits.
Do not use hot or cold pressure washers. The high-velocity water spray will cut
through the polyurethane or damage the interface between the polyurethane and
the metal housings.
3.
If necessary, schedule troubleshooting and/or repair of the suspected unit.
4.
Inspect all cables for signs of twisting or abrasion.
5.
Inspect the cables, transducer arrays, and SSP for any signs of damage or oil
leakage.
