A Service Level Agreement (SLA) runs for annual terms of 12 months at a time, and covers a

Sound Velocity Probe

To ensure proper beam steering, the sonar requires the input of the local sound velocity in the
area of the transmitter and receiver arrays. The sound velocity probe (SVP) is used to
continuously report this value to the processor unit.
The unit described below may be purchased from Teledyne RESON as an option, or a SVP of
similar specifications may be supplied by the customer.
