SeaBat T-Series Subsea Cables
The units must not be suspended from their cables. Ensure that strain relief on the cable (cable
grip) is used. If the cable is very long, use an external wire or cable covered with steel flex.
B.4.1 SeaBat T-Series Subsea Transducer Cables
A standard cable set is provided to connect the SeaBat T-Series Subsea system components.
Projector to SSP cable: This cable allows power and data to be passed between the
projector and SSP. It has a standard length of three meters and a minimum bend
radius of 63.5mm.
Receiver to SSP cable: This cable allows power and data to be passed between the
receiver and SSP. It has a standard length of three meters and a minimum bend
radius of 100.0mm.
B.4.2 SeaBat T-Series Subsea External Sensor Cable
AUX pigtail cable: This cable interfaces external sensors with the SSP. It has a
standard length of five meters and a minimum bend radius of 105.0mm.
B.4.3 UUV Interface Cable
SSP to UUV host cable: A host cable allows for power and data to be passed
between the SSP and the UUV system. This cable is three meters in length and has a
minimum bend radius of 100.0mm.
