Parameters for the Snmp Command
Parameter
file_message
the file that contains a message to sent to.
If the file is not in the same folder with dasadmin.exe, the filename among with
the complete path should be in double quotes.
Because of SNMP interface properties, this command is not working completely.

Switch to the Passive Host (switch)

The switch command switches the passive Scalar DLC node to the active node and, if possible,
the active node to passive node where the Scalar DLC Cluster solution is in use. Any automatic
switching device being used to control the robotic controller will also be switched.
dasadmin switch -n |-f

Parameters for the Switch Command
Parameter
-n
normal switch with termination of all commands still running. Only possible if the
currently active Scalar DLC is still operational.
-f
immediate switch (force) regardless of commands still running or a database
that may not yet be synchronized.
Only use the -f option if the -n option is no longer functioning. There is
CAUTION:
a risk that anomalies in the database may be caused.

Display Drives by Media Type (typelist2)

The typelist2 command shows all drives or specific drives with matching media type. This
command was introduced to support long drive names.
dasadmin typelist2 [nSize] [-t mediatype]

nSize
optional parameter, 380 by dafault. Indicates how many elements are returned.
If there are more entries then nSize, additional entries would not be transferred
and shown. nSize can be any integer from 1 to 1900.
