Figure6−33 Motor overload protection characteristics curve (constant torque)
T: Sensor mode. Compare the analog feedback value of the thermal sensor installed on the motor with
the present sensor protection threshold P9.T7. If the feedback value is higher than that protection
threshold, the inverter will report "E.Ptc" motor over temperature fault immediately, without inverse time
lag characteristics.
Note:
When this protection mode is employed, a analog channel is required to be set the function to "5: Motor
temperature feedback" for the thermal sensor, refer to parameter description of P6.TT.
T: No motor protection action, indicating that the inverter will not protect the overload status of the motor.
It must be used with great caution.
Tens place of P9.T6 determines whether de-rated at low speed :
0: Action: The heat sink effect will become worse when the motor is running at low speed and the motor
is de-rated according to the motor overload protection time as determined in P9.T8.
T: No action: For some special motors, such as variable frequency motor, "no action" can be selected
when de-rated at low speed. It must be used with great caution.
