Configuring EAP-FAST
EAP-FAST (Flexible Authentication via Secure Tunneling) is a specific EAP method developed by the company Cis-
co.
As with EAP-TTLS ( 76) and PEAP ( 76) a secure tunnel protects data transmission. However, the server does
not authenticate itself with a certificate. Instead it uses PACs (Protected Access Credentials).
 A user account for the UTN server is set up on the RADIUS server.
1. Start the utnserver Control Center.
2. Select SECURITY – Authentication.
3. Select FAST from the Authentication method list.
4. Enter the user name and the password of the user account that is set up for the UTN server on the RADIUS
server.
5. Select the settings intended to secure the communication in the channel.
6. Click Save & Restart to confirm.
 The settings will be saved.
