Guide Software Quick Installation Product CD IC167-TOKEN-EPSON Provides a brief description of the hardware installation of the print server. (This document) Provides a brief description of the software installation of the print server under each of the supported operating systems. - Page 3 S/UTP cabling (category 5 or better) may be used. The shielding must fit flushly to the connector. • The print server is intended for installation within the printer and must not be used externally. • If the print server is used in printers which are not providing sufficient power supply, an error message is printed.

Mounting the Print Server The print server is a so-called slot card that is simply inserted into the foreseen slot. The print server slot is usually located next to, or above the printer's Centronics interface. The print server has been configured for a ring speed of 16 MBit/s.
