c. INSTALLATION
1) Install the cable clip bracket on the engine under case
aligning the hole in the cable clip bracket with the

projection on the engine under case, and tighten the 6 x 12
mm flange bolt securely.

2) Clamp the handle cable using the harness band clip [Tiller
handle type only].

Clamp the remote control cable A and the indicator wire
4
using the harness band clip [Remote control type only].
3) Set the harness band clip on the cable clip bracket, and
5
install the remote control cable plate on the engine under
case.

4) Set the handle cable and the starter cable on the under case
grommet A in the position shown [Tiller handle type only].

Set the indicator wire, remote control cable A and the
8
starter cable on the under case grommet A in the positions
shown [Remote control type only].

5) Set the two remote control cables on the under case
grommet A in the positions shown, and install the under
10
case grommet A on the engine under case.
11 6) Set the remote control cables on the remote control cable
plate aligning the groove in each cable with the
corresponding recess in the remote control cable plate.
