i. INSTALLATION
Raise the swivel case assembly to the uppermost position.
1) When the lower cylinder bushings have been removed from the power trim/tilt assembly, apply marine grease to the

outer surface of the new lower cylinder bushings and install them on the power trim/tilt assembly.
2) Pass the power tilt motor wire and the trim angle sensor wire through the hole in the L. stern bracket.

3) Apply marine grease to the outer surface of the 10 mm distance collar and to the entire surface of the 19.4 x 6 mm
3
spacer.
Raise the L. stern bracket and install the 10 mm distance collar of the power trim/tilt assembly in the L./R. stern
4 brackets.
4) Install the 10 x 158 mm hex bolt and the 10 mm washer, and loosely tighten the 10 mm self-locking nut.

• Loosely tighten the 10 mm self-locking nut so it does not come out of the 10 x 158 mm hex bolt.
