5.1 Mounting the adapter
The sliding adapter is first connected to the socket attachment block,
and the the socket adapter is then mounted. The material of the pros­
thesis socket must not prevent the adapter from sliding properly.
Mounting on socket attachment block
Required materials: 4 mm Allen wrench, 2 mm Allen wrench,

710D20 torque wrench, 501S41=M6×25 countersunk head
screws, 636K13 Loctite®
1) Align the adapter so the Ottobock logo is facing forward.
2) Loosen the centre screw 1 to 1.5 turns (see fig. 2).
3) Loosen the medial or lateral clamping screws (see fig. 3). Sliding
the adapter makes the threads for mounting on the socket attach­
ment block accessible.
4) Place the adapter on the socket attachment block.
5) Secure the screws with Loctite®.
6) Screw in the 2 posterior countersunk head screws and tighten
them (tightening torque: 12 Nm).
7) Screw in the 2 anterior countersunk head screws and tighten
them (tightening torque: 12 Nm).
Fastening the socket adapter
► Use the 501S41=M6x16 screws to mount the socket adapter on
the sliding adapter.

Required materials: 710D20 torque wrench, 636K13 Loctite 241
1) If the pyramid receiver or the pyramid adapter is rotatable:
Place the pressure plate on the adapter.
2) Place the adapter on the connecting component.
3) Optional: Align the pyramid receiver or the pyramid adapter.
4) Secure the screws with Loctite.
5) Screw in the 2 posterior countersunk head screws and tighten
them (tightening torque: 12 Nm).
6) Screw in the 2 anterior countersunk head screws and tighten
them (tightening torque: 12 Nm).
5.2 Adjusting adapter
The upper part and lower part of the sliding adapter can slide against
each other on the cross support. They can slide independently of each
other in the frontal plane and the sagittal plane.
Sliding for trial fitting
Required materials: 4 mm Allen wrench, 2 mm Allen wrench

1) Loosen the centre screw 1 to 1.5 turns (see fig. 2).
2) Loosen the clamping screws for the desired sliding direction
(posterior = frontal plane, medial or lateral = sagittal plane) (see
fig. 3, see fig. 4).
3) Perform the displacement. The displacement paths can be read
off the scales of the adapter.
4) Tighten the clamping screws.
Extended trial fitting or permanent use
Required materials: 710D20 torque wrench

1) Tighten all clamping screws (see fig. 3, see fig. 4).
2) Tighten the centre screw (tightening torque: 7 Nm)(see fig. 2).
6 Cleaning
1) Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth.
2) Dry the product with a soft cloth.
3) Allow to air dry in order to remove residual moisture.
7 Maintenance
► A visual inspection and functional test of the prosthetic compo­
nents should be performed after the first 30 days of use.
► Inspect the entire prosthesis for wear during normal consulta­
tions.
► Conduct annual safety inspections.
8 Disposal
In some jurisdictions it is not permissible to dispose of the product
with unsorted household waste. Improper disposal can be harmful to
health and the environment. Observe the information provided by the
