The Imaging/Printing menu shows the time that it takes to render or
print any selected image. Various types of data are generated.
Activate Timing
Parameter Options: On, Off
Access Level: Read–3; Read–3
When the Activate Timing parameter is On, data is captured for the
categories listed below.
Label Rendering
Access Level: Read–3
When Activate Timing is On, the Label Rendering parameter reports
the time to render a new label from the point, just after the new
current and original format and data files are created. The time
includes the following:
•
the time to render the slant images if Slant mode is enabled.
•
the time to clear each rendering buffer's area as defined by
Composer.
•
the time to process any job parameter file.
•
the time to delete any volatile label files (if in Host Database
Mode).
•
the time to save any bar code data from the bar codes in the
images.
Time ends when the Render buffer is swapped to the Print buffer but
before the image copying is done.
Print Cycle
Access Level: Read–3
When Activate Timing is On, the Print Cycle parameter reports the
time it takes for the prior print cycle, which is measured from the
point the first printhead starts printing a label to the point the first
printhead starts printing the next label.
