    Printhead maintenance ■ Recovering blocked jets If print quality degrades due to the accumulation of dried ink or excess ink, use a clean, lint free cloth to manually wipe the printhead once only in either an up or a down motion to avoid dragging debris across the orifices.

Remove a new filter from the package and insert it into the opening. Close the filter cover. Repeat steps 1-3 for the filter on the opposite side of the controller.
