3 Point Hitch (Cat. II, III, or IIIN)
Hook-Up
CAUTION
Shut off tractor, engage parking brake and
remove key before working around hitch.
CAT. II & IIIN CONFIGURATION

a. Position tractor and align tractor hitch arms (A)
with windrower arms (B). Use the jack to adjust
height of windrower.
b. Secure arms with lynch pins (C).
c. Install anti-sway bars on tractor hitch to stabilize
lateral movement of hitch arms (A). Refer to
your tractor operator's manual.

d. Check distance 'X' between tractor PTO shaft
(D) and implement input shaft (E) (without the
front half of the driveline attached).
e. The
measurement
following:

1.375 in. (34 mm)

17 in. (432 mm)
OPERATION
f.
Change locations of pins (F) in APT arms to hole
(G) to locate implement closer to tractor if
necessary.
g. Position driveshaft (H) onto tractor PTO shaft.
Driveline should be approximately level.
h. Pull back collar on driveshaft and push
driveshaft until it locks. Release collar.
i.
Rotate driveline storage hook (J) to upward
position.

Attach down-stop chains (K) to pin (L) on tractor.
