semitrailer tractor vehicle is being driven
without a semitrailer, insert the connection
cable into empty socket A.

lighting system as well as that of the turn
signals and brake lamps.

WARNING
If you connect or detach the coupling heads
in the incorrect order, the parking brake/
spring-loaded parking brake of the vehicle to
be towed is released and the vehicle can roll
away. There is a risk of an accident.
Always connect/detach the coupling heads
in the correct order.
! Route cables and compressed-air lines so
that they can accommodate movements
without strain, kinks or friction when turning
corners, etc.
! After disconnecting the compressed-air
lines, ensure that the covers of the coupling
heads on the vehicle are closed. If the cov-
ers are not closed, the coupling heads may
become contaminated, causing a malfunc-
tion.
