Tilt the driver's seat/centre seat and co-
driver's seat backrests forward before fold-
ing down the berth. Otherwise, the berth
may come into contact with the seats and
cause damage to the components.
The berth is affixed to the rear wall of the cab.
It is secured in place with a tensioning strap in
the centre.

Fold the backrests of the driver's seat/
centre seat and co-driver's seat forwards

Release the tensioning strap.

Fold the berth forwards slowly.
Retaining straps ; on the right and left
enclose the berth loosely.

Thread the tensioning strap through the ten-
sioning buckle and secure the berth.

Adjusting the steering wheel

WARNING
The steering wheel may move unexpectedly
if you adjust it while driving. This could
cause you to lose control of the vehicle.
There is a risk of an accident.
Make sure that the steering wheel is locked
before driving off. Never unlock the steering
wheel when the vehicle is in motion.
The steering wheel adjustment mechanism is
locked/unlocked pneumatically.

Stop the vehicle.

Apply the parking brake.

The steering wheel unlocks.

Adjust the steering wheel height and angle.

The exterior mirrors reduce the size of the
image. Objects visible in the mirrors are
closer than they appear. You could misjudge
the distance from road users driving behind
you when changing lanes, for instance.
