Turn the key to the radio position in the igni-
tion lock.

Push cigarette lighter : in.
When the heating element is glowing, the
cigarette lighter pops out automatically.
You can also use the 24 V socket with ciga-
rette lighter : as a power source for electri-
cal devices up to 100 W.
Cup holder

WARNING
The cup holder cannot secure a drinks con-
tainer in place during a journey. If you use a
cup holder during a journey, the drinks con-
tainer could be flung around and liquid could
be spilt. Vehicle occupants could come into
contact with the liquid and, in particular, be
scalded by hot liquid. You could be distrac-
ted from the traffic situation and lose con-
trol of the vehicle. There is a risk of an acci-
dent and injury.
Only use the cup holder when the vehicle is
stationary. Only place containers of a suita-
ble size in the cup holder. Seal the con-
tainer, in particular when it contains hot liq-
uid.

Stowage space in the doors
In stowage space : in the doors you can
store items such as a rolled-up reflective
safety jacket or a small umbrella. It also has
space for bottles of up to 1.0 l capacity.

Mobile communications equipment distracts
the driver from traffic conditions. In addi-
tion, the driver could lose control of the
vehicle. There is a risk of an accident.
As a driver, use mobile communications
equipment only when the vehicle is at a
standstill.
As a car occupant, use mobile communica-
tions equipment only in the designated area,
e.g. the rear.
You must observe the legal requirements in
the country in which you are driving when
operating mobile communications equipment
in the vehicle.
The vehicle can be equipped with a Bluetooth
hands-free system. To operate a Bluetooth
mobile phone with an exterior aerial and
charge it in the vehicle, you will require a suit-
able holder. These are available from retailers
of Mercedes-Benz accessories.
