Solution
Close RHS hopper door.
Replace sliding shoes. See Replacing
Sliding Shoes on page 51.
Adjust switch. See Adjusting Packer
Extend Limit/Proximity Switch on
page 73
Reprogram the module for higher
number of cycles (see Warning
Buzzer on page 217).
Adjust tailgate proximity switch (see
Adjusting Tailgate Unlocked
Proximity Switch on page 78).
Check the proximity switch with a
multimeter or
for proper
VOM
operation (O
/O
or click).

Replace if necessary.
Check for continuity on the
electrical harness that is connected
to the proximity switch. Change the
electrical harness if necessary.
Recalibrate cylinder speed (see
Adjusting Arm Speed on page 241).
Align switch lever with gripper
finger (see Adjusting Arm Stowed
Limit Switches on page 82).
Perform a continuity test on the
cable. Replace faulty cables if
necessary.
Replace faulty limit switch.
Follow wires on the electrical
schematic for 12-volt supply (move
joystick to get signal).
