BOX REMOVAL

1. Pull the lever and tilt the rear cargo box.
2. Pull the clip (A) and remove the pin at the upper
cargo box shock mount.
3. Disconnect the tail light harness connector (B) from
the main harness.
4. Remove the clip and pin at the bottom shock mount
for replacement or removal of cargo box shock.
CAUTION
Safely support the box during the remainder of the
removal process. The box is not as stable with the
shock removed.
5. Using a 15mm socket, remove the (2) hinge
fasteners that retain the cargo box to the frame.
CAUTION
Use caution when removing the box. It is recommended
to have two people carefully remove the box from the

BOX INSTALLATION

1. Place the cargo box onto the frame. Align the hinges
of the box with the bracket on the frame.
2. Install the cargo box hinge fasteners on both sides
and torque to specification.
TORQUE
Cargo Box Hinge Fasteners: 14 ft-lbs (19 Nm)
3. With the hinge bolts installed, attach the shock to the
cargo box by inserting the pin and clip.
4. Connect the tail light harness connector to the main
harness.
5. Lower the box and secure the latch.
