If there is an insulation fault in the system on the same pole connected to ground by the protection, this fault is not
detected. This situation does not generate current flow.
In this situation there is no reason for a second fault to be detected by the protection. Since two return paths are cre-
ated, one by the protection and one by the insulation fault of the second pole.
