Introduction

This chapter contains tests that are used to verify the performance of Spectrum Master Models MS2723B and
MS2724B. Section 2-2 "Spectrum Analyzer Function Verification" begins the instructions to verify Spectrum
Analyzer functions, and Section 2-3 "Optional Functions Verification" on page 2-33 begins the instructions to
verify Options. Blank performance verification test records are provided in Appendix A. Make a copy of the
blank test records and use them to record measured values.
Caution Verify that all equipment has warmed up for at least 30 minutes before making any measurements.
