4. Remove the function key membrane by gently pulling the membrane up and away from the front panel
(Figure 3-12).

5. Disconnect the function key flexible switchpad from connector J2 of the keypad PCB by carefully lifting
the locking tab on connector J2 to release the flexible switchpad.
6. Reverse the above steps to install the replacement switchpad or membrane.
7. Carefully close the locking tab on connector J2 to secure the flexible switchpad connection. The tab
should "snap" into position when fully closed.
