General Information
Factory tests have shown that the equipment that is listed above will provide satisfactory results at
20 GHz (the upper limit of the MS2724B) even though the chart above specifies 18 GHz (per
Caution manufacturers specifications). Many Type N cables have excessive loss for testing the spectrum
analyzer section of the instrument up to 20 GHz. An SMA cable or K cable should therefore be
installed on the MG synthesizer for all spectrum analyzer tests on the MS2724B.
